Mirror ~ Reflection
Reflection - Photo 1:
I took this picture in Mrs. Shmiggle's room across the hall. The sun was falling in the sky and the lighting was warm and bright. Her windows are positioned towards the sun in the later part of the school day so using her room was the ideal place. I used a broken mirror to create a reflection of the light coming in on the wall. Then in photoshop I altered the colors and created an darker, deeper colored look to the photo. i like the way the light is so bright and white but the background is dark grey-ish with a purple-ish feel. By changing the color scheme, the color of the wood in the corner darkened. I like this because I like dark wood better than light, and it went with the dark tones of the rest of the photo. My favorite part of the photo is the streaks of light between the sharp blotches. These streaks create an even eerier feel to the photograph.
