Line and Shape
Reflections:
My photos were taken at school during class. Most were taken in the courtyard, but some were inside the building. The first photo was taken inside the art gallery. It is focused on the brick wall, but you can see the light shining through the window on the right side. I am very close up to the brick so you can see each crack. I aimed the camera straight on, yet still angled slightly to the right so that the viewer can see the light peaking out from the side. This photo is horizontal. When taking this picture I considered the rule of thirds. The light on the right side is one third, and the brick itself takes up two thirds of the picture. My third picture is a dynamic composition of leading lines. The viewer's eye goes up the stairs to the right, then down the railings back to the ground.
